Prince Preemie tells the delightful story of a tiny puppy that is born prematurely. I think that this book would be perfect for a family that needs to explain to smaller children, why their sibling can't come home from the hospital like other babies do. Preemie babies of any variety need that little extra care before going home. They may need tubes to breathe or tubes to keep them nourished until they are strong enough to go home.
Beautifully illustrated, this book incorporates a fictitious King and Queen in a fictitious realm. A short book that every child will love to have read to them, maybe repeatedly! I really liked this book for it's message and creativity. A perfect gift!

This is a sweet story, told in a way that children can easily understand. It will also resonate with anyone, of any age, who has experienced a premature birth in any capacity. The true lesson of this book, as I see it, is that, born early or not, we are all who we are meant to be.
The illustrations for this story are amazing. You will fall in love with the adorable dogs and the way they are presented.
And, as you may have expected, there is a happy ending to the story!
