Book Review - The True Nature of Tarot: Your Path to Personal Empowerment, 10th Anniversary Ed. by Diane Wing
This was such a fascinating read for me, so much detailed information contained on the tarot for both a beginner and those looking to increase their knowledge, whether a reader or a seeker. With years of experience the author shares her own experiences to bring the cards to life and to learn from giving you the confidence to delve in to the cards yourself and increase your own knowledge. I was amazed how much is involved in tarot and how one card can give so much meaning.
As Diane explained the tarot is intended as a tool to help and not harm the person seeking the answers and sometimes the reader must not try to interpret a difficult reading, sometimes the seeker will understand what is being shown.
The book and the way Diane introduces each card in so much detail is so interesting and it really piqued my interest, you can tell this was a true labor of love. Each of the cards has it's own detailed page which you will want to read time and time again. The page starts with the cards keywords, followed by it's description and meaning and how it can help to guide you forward. Diane gives you different avenues of thought in difficult situations, as well as asking questions to contemplate your own life right now. Not only that she also guides you through different combinations of cards too.
For me the book brought about a feeling of self help as it guides you through the cards, asking questions at certain points, it's very thought provoking and definitely a keeper!
